Copyright Statement

PFR is fully Open Access and uses Creative Commons (CC) licenses, which allow users to use, reuse and build upon the material published in the journal without charge or the need to ask prior permission from the publisher or author. More details on the CC licenses are below.
Authors are required to assign all copyrights in the work to the Japanese Society of Plasma Science and Nuclear Fusion Research, who then publish the work under the Creative Commons CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 International license. Authors must sign and send the Copyright Transfer Agreement upon submission of a manuscript.
Articles in the journal are Open Access with the Creative Commons license: CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 (Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivative 4.0 International). This license allows users to share unmodified articles, non-commercially, as long as appropriate credit is given. Authors may choose the Creative Commons license CC BY 4.0 (Attribution 4.0 International) if needed. This license allows users to share and adapt an article, even commercially, as long as appropriate credit is given.
Some funding bodies require articles funded by them to be published under a specific Creative Commons license. Before submitting your work to the journal, check with the relevant funding bodies to ensure that you comply with any mandates.
Under the agreement, PFR authors may:

• post the published version of their article without any modification on their own personal website, on their employer's website/repository.
• share printed or electronic copies of their article with colleagues.
• use all or part of their article and abstract in personal compilations or other scholarly publications of their own work
• make printed or electronic copies of their article for their employer's internal use.
• make presentation of their article (all or part).
• Post the authors’ final version to a preprint server after acceptance, making clear that the manuscript is accepted for publication in PFR.
