▼Oral&Poster Presentation Session:DEADLINE: August 12, 2020 (Wed.) 12:00

In view of the recent resurgence of the new coronavirus infection, we have decided to hold the 37th Annual Meeting online. It will be held at Ehime University from Tuesday, December 1st to Friday, December 4th.

In consideration of the inconvenience to our members due to the corona disaster, the application deadline for general presentations will be changed to Wednesday, 12 August, and the deadline for filling in the application form for the Young Scientists' Prize will be changed to Monday, 17 August, due to the change in the way the event is held, two weeks before the application deadline (Monday, 3 Aug.).

We are now considering the final format of the online presentation, referring to the examples of previous conferences. We are planning to use Webiar format (e.g., Zoom) for oral presentations and a small online meeting room for poster presentations, which will be similar to the conventional poster presentation format..

  • ・Presentation style : *The number of oral presentation is limited. If you select Oral presentation, the program committee sometimes ask you poster presentation.
  • ・Please check the box if you want to apply for the Best Presentation Awards at the JSPF Annual Meeting. The link to the "Application Form" will send you after your application is accepted.

    Qualifications for Speakers :
    Only the members of JSPF are allowed to present a general lecture. You can apply for membership at the same time as your lecture. However, non-members can speak in the organized sessions with the same qualifications as full members..
    ・Non-member foreigners may speak at the conference, but there is a separate fee for participation (see Participation Fees).


    Categories:
    The presentation must be of academic value and must be recent and unpublished in the following areas:
    (1) Basic Plasma Physics
    (2) Plasma Applications
    (3) Fusion Plasma
    (4) Fusion Engineering

    Please note that we do not accept applications that do not relate to the above-mentioned fields, do not have academic value, or are considered to be detrimental to the dignity and credibility of the society.


    Presentation:
    ・Oral and poster.Each oral presentation will be 15 minutes long (10 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions).
    ・The Program Committee of the Steering committe of the Annual Meeting will decide on the organization of the program.
    ・Oral and poster presentations are not always available as requested.
    ・Consecutive lectures are acceptable to the extent possible.
    ・ Multiple poster presentations are allowed for each registered speaker. There is no limit on the number of registrations for joint names.
    ・ We will not release, disclose, divulge, or use any confidential information obtained in the course of our work on program organization. In addition, we take the utmost care in the handling of personal information.


    Area of Presentation :
    1 main subject and, if necessary, 1 sub-field (next most relevant to the main subject) (up to 2 in total)(ex:A-5,B-1)

    ・When the web registration is accepted, the registration completion screen is displayed and an email is sent to the representative of the contact person. .If you do not receive an email, please be sure to contact the secretariat by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2020.
    ・We will inform you of the presentation availability and presentation numbers in early September.
    ・ Your input of speaker's name and lecture title will be shown in the program. After the deadline, these items cannot be changed.
    ・If you are unable to give a lecture on the day of the meeting, please contact the secretariat as soon as possible.
