PLASMA CONFERENCE 2014

After the outstanding success of the first Plasma Conference in Kanazawa in 2011, three major plasma related societies: Japan Physical Society, the Japan Society of Plasma Science and Nuclear Fusion Research, and the Japan Society of Applied Physics, Division of Plasma Electronics and the other Plasma related societies agreed to continue and promote this series in every three years. This time we hold this Plasma Conference 2014 in Tokimesse, Niigata from Nov. 18-21, 2014, beautiful place with rich variety of Japanese food. In this coming event you can see the basic plasma studies to plasma applications including a wide variety of industry exhibition of Japan and can attend the international sessions. In Japan’s long history of Plasma Science and Engineering, our time can be considered as a time where basic and creative and applied out-put oriented researches are mixed well and are about to make many good outputs in the near future. It is appropriate to call this time as “Plasma Renaissance”. We would like to invite all of you to take part in this big event of plasma science and engineering in Japan. Young researchers and graduate students are especially encouraged to participate.
