題 目：Present status of the diagnostics in EAST
要 旨：As a very important step of the EAST project, tens of diagnostics we
re employed for machine operation and protection, plasma control and physics analysis. Recently, several new diagnostics are set up to provide profiles of key plasma parameters for the further evaluation and better understanding of the plasma performance and physics in EAST. A current status of the diagnostics in EAST is introduced in this presentation, and some of recent progress on EAST experiment is presented briefly as well.

要 旨：
Similar to EBWCD in QUEST, lower hybrid current drive (LHCD) is an i
mportant tool for EAST steady state operation. Recently, much effort on LHCD simulation has been done in EAST. The present LHCD simulation in EAST is based on ray tracing approach and 2D kinetic equation, from which wave propagation, power deposition and driven current can be obtained. Here, a simple in troduction of LHCD simulation in EAST and its application to experiments are presented.
